It is the Oriental-floral composition. BOIS (BOttega Italiana Spigo) symbolizes the love of the Florentine family Galardi for making perfumes. It all starts in 1920 when Guido Galardi, the founder, starts experimenting with his first formulas. He collects the lavender (in Tuscan, spigo) that grows in the fields on the hills around Florence. Guido's feeling and craftsmanship are passed on to his grandson who, at the age of 13, regularly meets the great experts of perfumes. In 1985 he makes his passion his profession. BOIS 1920 is still fully owned by the Galardi family.
